Basic Function

This position is responsible for ensuring the products and services delivered by the Environmental, Health and Safety strategic business unit (SBU) resonate with the marketplace. This includes analyzing market and competitive research; developing marketing and advertising strategies; helping create designs and layouts for print and digital advertising concepts; overseeing promotional activities; and evaluating brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor market trends to analyze brand positioning and identify opportunities and key issues through research and customer insights.
  • Establish brand strategies and objectives in line with SBU and company goals.
  • Translate brand strategies into executable plans, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead messaging and creative development for all SBU digital assets and printed materials.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with SBU strategy.
  • Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
  • Support in aligning the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics.
  • Operates effectively as a member of the marketing team.
  • Demonstrates creative, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five or more years in a brand or product management role with a focus on B2B marketing
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite products
  • Intermediate knowledge with CRM and CMS software (Salesforce and HubSpot)
  • Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) marketing
