QA & Approval Resources

As part of our commitment to producing quality emergency training products, HSI has played a role in the creation of the national guidelines and recommendations that are the standard by which emergency medical training programs are judged. Representatives from HSI participated in the International Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2005 conference, served as volunteer members of the 2005 National First Aid Advisory Board, and are currently involved with the 2010 International First Aid Science Advisory Board, founded by the AHA and American Red Cross (ARC). HSI is also a nationally accredited provider of emergency medical service continuing education.

As a result, our programs are based on the same scientific guidelines and treatment recommendations used by the American Heart Association®, Inc., and the American Red Cross for course development and are substantially equivalent to their commercially available products.

HSI also monitors state laws and regulations relating to emergency medical training. This helps us ensure that HSI training programs and Instructors comply with all the training requirements and policies associated with providing emergency medical training in a particular state, for a particular industry, and to a particular audience.
