Oregon Dental Regulations
The Oregon Board of Dentistry adopted new regulations requiring dental practices in Oregon administering moderate or deep sedation to have an AED onsite. The same regulation also creates deep sedation permit requirements, including a requirement that dentists must be certified in either ACLS or PALS. There is no restriction on the training that can be used. The regulation was adopted July 1, 2010.How Can We Help
As an Oregon-based company, HSI would like to help you meet the requirements of this law. Health & Safety Institute (HSI) and its family of brands is one of the country’s largest distributors of AEDs. Over the years, we have assisted companies of all sizes – from small offices to Fortune 500 corporations – to implement early defibrillation programs.
We understand how difficult it can be financially and logistically to meet swiftly imposed regulations, and are currently offering special pricing on AEDs purchased by dental practices.
In addition to our wide selection of AEDs, HSI provides a one-source solution for establishing a successful AED program, including approved emergency care training to help you meet these new requirements.
To find out how HSI can help with AED implementation, training, or to take advantage of special pricing on AED's from now until December 30, 2010, contact HSI at 800 447 3177 and mention "Oregon Dental AED"
