Students have their opinions and preferences as well, and Memorial University of Newfoundland gathered those likes and dislikes into an interesting study on Students’ Perceptions of Effective Teaching in Higher Education.  The study covers both in-class and distance education situations.

In a nutshell, here are the top characteristics students want to see in their teachers in order to have the most successful learning experience. The teacher should be:
