Kudos to CPRescue of San Jose, California for winning a contract to provide CPR and first aid training to the United States Postal Service (USPS) at the agency’s City of Industry location in the Los Angeles area. As CPRescue’s press release points out, “Though CPRescue has contracts with several California State Departments, this is the first time it has landed a Federal entity.”

Speaking of news from the front lines of our industry, have you heard we've got some of your peers lined up to present at our 2013 International Conference Evolution Through Innovation, October 30-November 1, in San Antonio?
We're please to announce that Andrea Arnold, TC Director of Lifesaving Enterprises in New York, New York will be giving a presentation on Ice Breakers and Energy Boosters, featuring some tried-and-true activities and games that make classes more engaging. At the helm of an ASHI Training Center since 2009, Andrea is an outstanding candidate to talk about how she successfully invigorated the training experience for her students.
We're also excited to welcome Shannon Miller (ASHI and MEDIC First Aid), COO and EVP of Business Development of My CPR Pros, LLC of Huntersville, North Carolina. Shannon will talk to us about Innovations in Marketing. As he points out, the marketing landscape is flooded with a dizzying array of options: Old media. New media. Online. Offline. How do you use these to grow your business? This breakout session will cut through the marketing clutter and shed light on marketing strategies that work for the 21st century health & safety training company. The session will conclude with a 15-minute Q & A session.
Want in on the action? It’s not too late to submit a presentation idea for a conference session.
