According to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation, 424,000 people in the US experience EMS-assessed out-of-hospital non-traumatic SCA, and nine out 10 victims die. And a study done in the U.K. suggests that up to 150,000 people a year could be given a chance to live if more people knew first aid.
We love our facts and statistics here at the HSI offices, but no one can make the case for emergency care training as passionately as our instructors:
Let 2015 be the year you become a certified hero. Schedule that CPR, AED, and first aid class and then resolve to see it through! We’re here to help.
