Making Your Case to Attend the HSI International Conference

2013 HSI International ConferenceIf you attended a past ASHI, MEDIC First Aid, or HSI Conference, you already know that the 2013 HSI Conference—Evolution Through Innovation will be a great educational and networking opportunity.

For those who haven’t, perhaps you still need to have that discussion with your manager about the time off and expenses to attend. You just need to make your case about the value of the conference, and today’s blog post lets our best ambassadors do just that.

Check out the wonderful quotes from our ASHI and MEDIC First Aid instructors and TC directors about their past HSI conference experiences and what they’re looking forward to at this year’s:

“There is nothing more stimulating than getting together with your peers to learn and socialize. You will return home refreshed and energized with new ideas and skills to help enhance your training business and increase your students’ skills.”

-Richard Bilger, Life Signs Plus

“Every time I have attended a conference, I left feeling pumped up and motivated on all the new concepts, ideas and props that I can bring to my trainings. Not only do you learn new techniques for the classroom, you also gain new marketing ideas that help boost your business.”

-Diamond Cook, Life Enrichment & Safety Institute

“First things first. You folks are great hosts. Secondly, this is a great time to see how other instructors are teaching/motivating their classes. The updates on research and changes to first aid/CPR are invaluable, and last but not least, it's good to see vendors with new products.”

-Fred Hayward, Fred Hayward Training Services

“It is great to get caught up and network with other instructors IN PERSON, hearing updates and HSI expectations in person ….and we usually have a great time!”

-Kim Dennison, Absolute Learning Success, LLC & MLTAI

“Trainers are often isolated, without much interaction other trainers. The HSI conference lets trainers get GREAT information on how to teach and run a training center. And associating with other trainers builds strong professional relationships, and insures the trainers they are in the mainstream of current training theory and practice. It's also a BLAST!”

-Steve Thomas, AlertCPR Emergency Training

Even our choice of venue gets some well-deserved attention:

“San Antonio Riverwalk is a unique, somewhat unknown, historical TexMex jewel hidden away in a city sunbaked and culturally cured for centuries. It's not easy being cool in southwest Texas, but San Antonio makes it happen. See you there!”

-Tom McMillan, Texas OnSite CPR

With support like this, we are even more motivated to make Evolution Through Innovation the biggest, baddest HSI conference yet.
