TSTC Gets the Word Out about MEDIC First Aid

Special thanks to Eladio Jaimez at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) for the school’s recent press release about their MEDIC First Aid offerings.

We were especially honored by the quote from Director of Continuing Education Juan Leal, who explains that employers prefer MEDIC First Aid for meeting the training needs of the oil refinery and manufacturing industry, because “[The program] gets into more detail and goes over how to respond to injuries that could occur in their type of workplace.”

MEDIC First Aid was specifically designed to help meet workplace requirements for CPR, AED, and first aid training. The structured approach of the programs allows employers to achieve training consistency across multiple locations with an easy step-by-step instructional format and required course topics. Scenario-based training helps “keep it real” for students, and each certification card comes with online refresher training that includes LearningLinks, the Passport mobile app, and a downloadable digital course book.
